The Physical Education (Penjas) Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Megarezky University (Unimerz) successfully held a National Seminar with the theme 'Physical Education Concepts in Character Building in Job Competition in the 5.0 Era', in the Hall of Megarezky University 5th Floor, Tuesday (24/1/2023).
Also present at the National Seminar were Deputy Dean 1 of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP); Suhardianto, S.Pd., M.Pd, Deputy Dean II FKIP; Dr. Cayati, S.Pd., M.Pd, Chair of the Physical Education Study Program; Agus Ismail, S.Pd., M.Pd, all lecturers/staff of the Physical Education study program, Physical Education students and several high school students throughout the city of Makassar.
The presenters at this National Seminar were Dr. Awaluddin ASSos., M.Si (Chair of LPPM STIA PRIMA, CEO of DIKAWAL Platfrom, Director of the Sulawesi Journal Study & Research Institute) and Hezron Alhim Dos Santos, S.Pd., M.Pd (Lecturer in Physical Education, Health and Recreation, Makassar State University, Chairman of Mata Garuda LPDP South Sulawesi).
In his report, Zulzilatul Ardi as Chair of the National Seminar Committee hopes that holding this activity can broaden the insight of participants, especially Physical Education students.
"We would like to thank the presenters who were present to share their knowledge with us, hopefully this can broaden the insight of the participants who attended. This seminar is one of the obligations in our courses. "And of course this activity could not have been possible without the support of the lecturers and academic community at Megarezky University," said the Physical Education student class of 2020.

In his speech, the Dean of FKIP Megarezky University, Dr. Abdul Malik Iskandar, S.Ag., M.Pd, represented by Deputy Dean 1 of FKIP, Suhardianto, S.Pd., M.Pd, said that the National Seminar was an assignment from one of the courses in the Physical Education study program.
"I would like to thank and welcome the presenters who have set aside time to attend Megarezky University, especially at this National Seminar," he said.
"And of course, the Faculty really appreciates the powerful lecturers who have given National Seminar assignments like this. So this activity teaches us that it is not only cognitive ability, but also that we must have the skills to be able to compete in the world of work after graduating. "Hopefully in the next course we can hold activities like this," he added.
Meanwhile, when met in his office, Agus Ismail, S.Pd., M.Pd as the Head of the Physical Education Study Program said that the aim of holding this activity was to provide students with experience in developing soft skills.
"This activity is a course output in semester 5. The aim is to give students experience in developing soft skills, so that they can not only become educators, but also be able to organize event activities, be it seminars or others," he said.
"We hope that in the future, with this national seminar, other students will be interested in holding national seminars like this, or even international seminars," he said.
