Diploma IV Medical Laboratory Technology (TLM) Study Program (Prodi), Faculty of Health Technology, Megarezky University (Unimerz) held a Field Learning Practice (PBL) II provision activity, in the Megarezky University Hall, 5th Floor, Saturday (7/1/2023).
This activity was held to equip students with profiles, examinations in the hospital laboratory, as well as the rules for carrying out PBL II activities in the practice area (hospital) before going to the practice location in the hospital laboratory, both regional hospitals and Makassar City.
Also present at the briefing activity were Sumitro Rahman, S.Si., M.Kes as Head of the RSUP Laboratory. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar, Anyta Eka Sari, SKM., M.Mkes as Head of Hospital Laboratory Installation. Tk.II Plamonia Makassar City, Diana, S.ST as RSUD Laboratory Staff. Labuang Baji Makassar City, all TLM D-IV Lecturers/Staff and all students who will carry out land practice at the hospital.
In her statement, Nirmawati Angria, S.Sc., M.Kes as Chair of the D-IV TLM Unimerz Study Program said that in this briefing students were given material related to competency as Medical Laboratory Technologists who play a role in handling specimens in hospitals.

"The material in this training activity is competency as a medical laboratory technology expert who plays a role in handling specimens in hospitals, including pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical examinations, including urinalysis, hematology, blood chemistry, mycobiology, phlebotomy and several other examinations. . "In addition to providing material related to quality assurance and validation of inspection methods as well as K3 and patient safety," he explained.
By holding this activity, he hopes that students can use the materials they get as supplies before students go into practice.
"This activity is a means of equipping students before going to the practice field. It is hoped that with this activity students will have the provisions and understand some of the examination methods presented and this activity will become one of the routines for the study program before students are sent to the field," he said.
