A total of 8 Megarezky University (Unimerz) students received scholarships to complete their studies from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
The scholarship was handed over directly by Vice Chancellor III Unimerz, Dr. Jalal, M.Pd accompanied by Deputy Chancellor IV for Cooperation and Public Relations, Dr. Hj. Arfenti ASPd., M.Pd in the meeting room of the rectorate of Megarezky University, Wednesday (28/12/2022).
The eight students who received study completion scholarships from the BRIN Institute consisted of 7 students from the Physical Education Study Program (Penjas) and 1 student from the Pharmacy Study Program. Each Physical Education student gets Rp. 2,500,000 and Pharmacy students get Rp. 8,000,000 for two semesters.
In his statement, Vice Chancellor III, Dr. Jalal, M.Pd expressed his gratitude to the BRIN Institute for the scholarship assistance provided to its students.
“This is the handover of scholarships for the completion of our students' studies at Unimerz. They can get this scholarship because they all meet the requirements given by BRIN. Not all students can get this scholarship, only certain people. "The aim is to help reduce the costs of completing their studies, including research," he said.
Furthermore, he hopes that the scholarship assistance provided can be put to good use by students to complete their studies at Megarezky University.
"Hopefully our students can make good use of this scholarship assistance. "And to the BRIN institution, we hope that this scholarship program can continue to help our students study at Unimerz," he hoped.
