BIOINFORMATICS UNDERGRADUATE PROFILE

At the beginning of the development of science, biologists collected and collected biological data by carrying out various experimental designs. Then the research data is stored in a database, protein structure and protein sequence data. This complex data cannot be analyzed effectively due to human limitations. Therefore, computer experts are needed to help the work of biologists. This was the forerunner to the formation of bioinformatics and ultimately became a research trend in the field of biological science today.

VISION

To become a superior study program and be able to compete at the national level in the health sector by applying bioinformatics science based on molecular genetics by 2034
