PROFILE D3 MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY

The DIII Medical Laboratory Technology Study Program is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Health Technology, Megarezky University. The DIII Medical Laboratory Technology Study Program develops knowledge in the Vocational field of Medical Laboratory Technology and produces graduates who are of high quality and competitive in their field. The DIII Health Analyst Study Program - STIKES Mega Rezky Makassar was established in 2008, based on the RI Director General of Higher Education and National Education Directorate General of Higher Education License No. SK Number: 898/D/T/2008. Nomenclature changes in 2018, the DIII Health Analyst Study Program changed its name to: "DIII MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY" Megarezky University.

VISION

Producing Associate Experts in Medical Laboratory Technology who excel in Bacteriological Examination of Tropical Infectious Diseases

MISSION

  • Organizing Medical Laboratory Technology education, especially in the field of Bacteriology of Tropical Infectious Diseases, which is creative, independent, cultured, has noble character, has faith and is devoted to God Almighty.
  • Carrying out health research to develop medical laboratory knowledge and technology in the field of Tropical Infectious Disease Bacteriology.
  • Carrying out community service in the application of medical laboratory science in the field of Bacteriology of Tropical Infectious Diseases for the welfare of the community.
  • Collaborating with related agencies to develop the quality of Medical Laboratory Technology education in the field of Bacteriology of Tropical Infectious Diseases.

OBJECTIVE

  • Producing graduates who are Intermediate Experts in Medical Laboratory Technology who are competitive according to developments in health technology.
  • Producing scientific work in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology.
  • Availability of information in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology in improving the quality of public health.
  • Realizing collaboration with health service institutions and facilities at national and international levels as well as stakeholders in the medical laboratory sector.

Phlebotomy Technician

Phlebotomy Technician, Associate Expert in Medical Laboratory Technology who has the ability to take blood specimens, handle fluids and human tissue for medical laboratory examinations.

Medical Laboratory Technician

Medical Laboratory Technician, Intermediate Expert in Medical Laboratory Technology who has the ability to carry out blood and other biological material examinations and is responsible for the quality of examination results in medical laboratories.

Medical Laboratory Examination Process Verifier

Medical Laboratory Inspection Process Verifier Proof (verifier) of process conformity with standards in medical laboratory examinations.

Implementing Promotion of Medical Laboratory Services

Implementer of Promotion of Medical Laboratory Services Actor who conveys information on medical laboratory services through effective communication, both interpersonal and professional, to patients, colleagues, clinicians and the public.
